Scala Anvils come in two models: standard or heavy-duty (to be used with our standard Scala Kit or heavy-duty Scala Kit respectively). Both standard and heavy-duty anvils have female threads at both ends for screwing in the guide rod and the extension rod. For heavy-duty models, when fitted as per instruction, the components should not loosen during testing, which is designed to reduce breakages. The drop weight falls down the guide rod, hammering the anvil which in turn drives the Scala into the ground. Like all our Scala gear, it is made in accordance with NZ Standard specifications.
