Shear Vane Blades are available in two sizes: 19 mm and 33 mm. They are used with our Geotechnics Shear Vane to obtain undrained shear strength readings from cohesive materials. The 33 mm blade is for use in softer materials (0 to 40 kPa), whereas the 19 mm blade is for use up to full range of 220 kPa. Blades can be calibrated to your handheld shear vane.
