Technical Coordinator – Auckland

Join Our Team as a Technical Co‑ordinator!

We’re looking for an organised, proactive, and people‑focused Technical Co‑ordinator to join our friendly Measurement and Calibration team at Geotechnics.

In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of our operations — providing exceptional customer service, coordinating job bookings, and helping ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of our MCC and Sales teams.

You’ll work closely with our technicians, customers, and internal teams, keeping things flowing efficiently and upholding our high standards of quality and service.

  • Provide outstanding day-to-day customer service to internal and external clients.
  • Coordinate daily workload with the Administration Manager and job bookings using our internal business management software.
  • Manage customer communications via phone calls and emails, responding in a timely manner.
  • Assist with invoicing, quotations, and debtor management.
  • Send monthly service reminders.
  • Support the wider Geotechnics and GeoSales groups with phone cover and administrative tasks.

You’ll bring excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus, along with the ability to stay organised and detail‑driven, even when things get busy. You’re the kind of person who enjoys taking ownership of your work but also loves being part of a supportive team that works well together.

Ideal Experience & Skills:

  • 1-2 years’ customer service or administrative experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Confident using computers and systems.
  • Great written and verbal communication.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy.
  • General knowledge of debtors and invoicing.
  • Valid restricted motor vehicle licence and ability to lift 15 kg regularly.
